Ferrari just enveiled the Roma and it’s beautiful

…and it’s a real tribute to italianness.

We couldn’t image a better place to unveil this front-engine grand tourism new Ferrari than the Eternal City, where the Roma made his debut showing an amazing and extremely elegant design.

The Roma is the fifth model that hit the market this year and the luxurious sports car maker planned this to be one the 15 new models that will be launched by 2022.

Ferrari hasn’t announced the release date and the price, but everything bring us to think we will see the new Roma on the market during 2020 and for a starting price similar to the Portofino.

Talking about the Portofino, is this going to be a Portofino coupè?

Even sharing size and mechanics settings, this new model will introduce some technical innovations, starting from new chassis the features 70% of newly designed components.

The frontal twin-turbo 3.9 litres V8 engine produces 620 horsepower with a torque of 760 nm between 3000 and 5750 rpm.

Ferrari claims 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds, 0-124mph in 9.3 and a top speed of 198mph.

The design

Designed with clean lines and curves, the Roma is nothing like the Portofino. It is in fact inspired from the “Dolce vita” 50’s and 60’s greatest models, such as 250 GT Berlinetta lusso and 250 GT 2+2, that some calls the most beautiful cars ever.

The interiors, designed following the new Dual Cockpit concept, have 2 different and separated zones for the driver and the passenger, with 3 screens.
